The ASAM Conference, which took place on the 4th and 5th of December 2024, has come to an end, but the exciting impressions and engaging conversations continue to resonate. On December 4th, we had the honor of welcoming Marius Dupuis, the CEO of ASAM e.V., to our booth. During an insightful exchange, we were able to discuss the current trends of the conference and gain valuable insights.
A central theme running through the conference was the topic of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and automated driving. The related factors continue to be at the forefront of the industry, leading to an increasing shift towards simulation. The need to realistically simulate complex scenarios is becoming increasingly important to ensure the safety and efficiency of automated systems.
Another key element of the presentations and discussions was the role of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. These technologies are not only crucial components for the development of smart vehicles but are also integral to our current solutions for optimizing testing processes and analyzing large data sets. By already integrating these technologies into our offerings, we are well-positioned to shape the mobility of the future.
Our scientific paper, ‘A Novel Approach for Scenario Extraction and Generation in ASAM OpenSCENARIO DSL Using AI-Core Meta & ELMs,’ was accepted by ASAM e.V. Our colleague Harsha Jakkanahalli Vishnukumar presented the findings in an engaging presentation
A particular highlight at our booth was our bicycle demonstrator. It showcases how we utilize innovative approaches to shape the mobility of tomorrow and elevate automated testing solutions to a new level. The reactions from visitors were positive throughout.
